Far Infrared Sauna for Health

If you're looking for a natural way to improve your health, a far infrared sauna may be just what you need. Unlike traditional saunas, which use steam or hot rocks to heat the air, far infrared saunas use infrared light to heat your body directly. This can lead to a range of health benefits, from improved circulation to reduced stress and pain. Read on to learn more about the benefits of far infrared saunas.

Infrared saunas differ from traditional saunas in that they use infrared radiant energy to directly penetrate into the body’s tissue.

Infrared saunas

Detoxification and Improved Immune System.

One of the key benefits of using a far infrared sauna is its ability to help with detoxification. As your body heats up, you'll start to sweat, which can help to flush out toxins and impurities from your system. This can be especially helpful for people who are dealing with high levels of environmental toxins or who have a history of substance abuse. Additionally, using a far infrared sauna can help to boost your immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells and improving circulation. This can help your body fight off infections and illnesses more effectively.

Pain Relief and Improved Circulation.

In addition to detoxification and immune system support, using a far infrared sauna can also provide pain relief and improve circulation. The heat from the sauna can help to relax muscles and reduce inflammation, which can be especially helpful for people dealing with chronic pain conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia. Improved circulation can also help to reduce pain and promote healing by delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the affected areas of the body. Overall, using a far infrared sauna can be a great way to support your overall health and well-being.

Weight Loss and Improved Skin Health.

In addition to the physical benefits of using a far infrared sauna, it can also help with weight loss and improve skin health. The heat from the sauna can increase your heart rate and metabolism, which can help to burn calories and aid in weight loss. Additionally, sweating in the sauna can help to flush out toxins and impurities from the skin, leaving it looking clearer and more radiant. Regular use of a far infrared sauna can help to support a healthy weight and promote healthy, glowing skin.

Stress Reduction and Improved Mental Health.

Another major benefit of using a far infrared sauna is its ability to reduce stress and improve mental health. The heat from the sauna can help to relax muscles and release tension, which can help to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. Additionally, the sauna can stimulate the production of endorphins, which are natural mood-boosters that can help to improve overall mental health. Regular use of a far infrared sauna can help to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall mental well-being.

Convenience and Cost-Effectiveness.

In addition to the health benefits, using a far infrared sauna is also convenient and cost-effective. Unlike traditional saunas, which require a large amount of space and expensive installation, far infrared saunas can be easily installed in your home and take up minimal space. They also use less energy and are more cost-effective to operate than traditional saunas. This makes it easy and affordable to incorporate regular sauna use into your health and wellness routine.

Important Information:

*The sauna will be pre-set and warmed to 130 degrees. Keep in mind, this is the infrared temperature, not the air temperature. The benefits of the infrared are the same at 110 degrees as they are at 150 (max temperature). You have the ability to raise or lower the temperature from inside the cabin during your visit.

*Starting out, 20 minute increments in the sauna is recommended, working up to 60 minutes at your comfort level. You may not sweat as much your first few times. Once the body becomes acclimated to the detoxification process, sweating may increase and happen at a faster rate.

*Always, always, listen to your body and step out if you are uncomfortable or become dizzy.

*You may bring water only in the cabin but please be careful not to spill as there is a floor heater.

*There are towels available to place beneath you and behind you to keep the sauna clean.

*Bring or wear clothes that you don't mind getting sweaty and a change of clothes to leave dry.

*There is no shower on site and it is recommended to allow your core temperature to remain elevated for 30-60 minutes after a session.

*Absolutely no alcohol allowed in the room, sauna, or building.

Your session in Advanced’s Sauna Room will be completely private during your reservation.

The cedar wood cabin features a bench for sitting down, spa like music or bring your own audio, and chromotherapy lighting for added benefits.

For best results, it is recommended to create a routine that involves regular sauna visits complimentary to other wellness practices - yoga, massage, exercise, diet, and sleep. Drinking at least 8 ounces of water before and after a session is necessary to replace the water lost during sweating. Including electrolytes further replenishes the body's nutrients.
